England - English Premiership Rugby
Prediction :
Bath -9.5 handicap points
It will be a battle of the giants in English rugby as Bath clash with Leicester Tigers for the 2024-25 Premiership crown on Saturday at the Allianz Stadium. Can Johann van Graan's side secure a historic treble with a win over the Tigers? Let's take you through our prediction for the match.
Bath are now set to end their 29-year wait for the Premiership crown on Saturday. Johann van Graan's side have since dusted off their defeat to Northampton Saints in last season's final to emerge as the standard bearers in the Premiership this term.
They finished 11 points clear at the top of the table in the regular season and defeated local rivals Bristol Bears 34-20 in the semi-final. Notably, the Somerset-based side are on the verge of making history heading into this match. Having won the Premiership Cup and the European Challenge Cup, they could become the first Premiership team to complete the treble if they edge out Leicester Tigers on Saturday.
Leicester Tigers finished second in the regular season. They edged out Sale Sharks 21-16 in the semi-finals and are one of the most successful teams in the English top flight with most Premiership titles (11). Can they upset a high-flying Bath on Saturday to win their 12th Premiership crown?

Johann van Grann is likely to field the same forwards pack that edged out Bristol Bears in the semifinal with minor tweaks. 32-year-old English hooker Tom Dunn, who looked smitten after 80 minutes against Bristol, is in contention to earn his 237th cap with the team since joining in 2012.
Openside flanker Miles Reid is likely to return to the starting lineup ahead of number eight, Alfie Barbeary. The 24-year-old helped lead the team's dramatic second-half comeback against Bristol after coming off the bench.
At the back, we expect zero changes for the Somerset-based side. Prolific fly-half Finn Russell has been declared fit after picking up a cramp and is available for the showdown. English full-back Ciaran Donoghue and teammate Orlando Bailey are both available and are expected to compete for a starting role. Winger Will Muir, the team's joint second-highest try scorer, is also expected to make the starting lineup after his heroics against Bristol Bears.
For Leicester Tigers, Michael Cheika is likely to keep his semi-final winning side untouched.
Loosehead Prop Nicky Smith is expected to start in the forwards pack after his terrific performance against Sale Sharks.
Argentine hooker Julian Montoya and Scottish lock Cameron Henderson are also expected in front including Joe Heyes, Ollie Chessum, Hanro Liebenberg, Tommy Reffell and Olly Cracknell.
At the back, there aren't many changes expected as well. English scrum-half Jack van Poortvliet is likely to start alongside winger Adam Radwan, and center Solomone Kata.
Bath are the overwhelming favorites to not just win this match, but cover the spread. Johann van Graan's side have enjoyed a stellar campaign in all competitions this term and are on track to secure their first treble.
Additionally, they have won three of their last four matches by double digits. They also edged out Leicester Tigers in their last two meetings, winning by an average of 16.5 points. Given this trend, we expect Bath to come out victorious by a double-digit margin. Hence, our Bath vs Leicester Tigers prediction is Bath -9.5 points handicap.
