Botswana will wrap up their group phase duties at the COSAFA Cup against Zambia on Wednesday. This match means more to second-placed Botswana, with Zambia, in third, only playing for pride. Read on for our prediction.

It was always going to be tough playing in a three-team pool with only the leaders advancing. Now it is Botswana who are in the spotlight after their 0-0 draw with leaders Comoros earlier on Monday.

Just a win may not be enough for the Zebras; they have to win by at least two goals to upstage Comoros. Their struggles against Zambia, having won just four times in 26 meetings, will not aid their ambitions here.

Record COSAFA Cup winners Zambia are set for another year in the cold. They were hoping for a Botswana win against Comoros to give them hope, but that won’t happen.
