ATP - ATP Stuttgart Open
Prediction :
Lehecka to win in straight sets
Jiri Lehecka will face Jan-Lennard Struff for the second time in his career, targeting a second win, in the Stuttgart Open second round. After early exits from the French Open, the two had great starts at Stuttgart, and here we have a prediction for the match.
Struff is coming from a 2-0 win over Matteo Arnaldi in the opening round. That was the first win for the German after having lost each of the earlier four.
This hasn’t turned out to be a great season for Struff, who has only two wins in the last 14 matches. In five of his last nine matches, Struff failed to win a set.
Both Lehecka and Struff will welcome the grass swing after the tough outings on clay. Lehecka’s season hasn’t been as bad as Struff’s, but on clay he didn’t really enjoy it.
Grass isn’t his specialty either, but he will be happy to face a struggling Struff, who has some good numbers on grass. Lehecka hasn’t added to his Brisbane title, won earlier in the year, but will be gunning for a 20th win of the season to lift his spirits.
The 19th one happened to be the first on grass since 2023. He triumphed in straight sets against Benjamin Bonzi, also his fifth win in seven matches.

Jiri Lehecka has a strong run coming into this game, compared with Struff. The Czech player doesn’t only have the better run of these two; his season is also very solid, and he’s already bagged a title. Three times in his last six matches he won with straight sets and will feel confident enough to extend his record against Struff to 2-0.
The German, on the other hand, has had a really poor campaign so far, and much of it has to do with losing in straight sets. With that, our prediction for Jan-Lennard Struff v Jiri Lehecka is for Lehecka to win in straight sets.
