Polish champions Lech Poznan enter this stage of qualifying for Europe’s top tier club competition after winning the Ekstraklasa last season. They’re already back underway in competitive fixtures for the 2025-26 campaign, although it hasn’t been an ideal start for Niels Frederiksen's crew.
The hosts come into this first leg after losing their previous two competitive matches - a 2-1 loss to Legia in the Super Cup which was followed up by a heavy 4-1 home defeat to Cracovia in the first matchday of the league.

They kept the momentum up after that match by winning 1-0 at home over Vestri in matchday 15 of the Icelandic league season. The result leaves Breidablik third in the domestic standings and they’ve now lost just once in their last eight across all competitions.
